Christian Siriano Spring 2009

I was so amazed by the final collection in Project Runway season 4 by Christian Siriano that I wanted to see more of him, so I started to google. I think his later collections are more commercial, not that "fantasy" anymore. There're some pieces that make me just think "nice, beautify, ok, I would wear", but there're always 3 or more pieces that make me say "wow!"

Most pieces at the beginning of the Spring collection 2009 just remind me of classic European design. Elegant, beautiful, but I missed the "wow"- effect. Then more and more amazing pieces came up. I love the combination of simple and playful, and totally love romantic style.>

I picked out those I like, well, almost everything. I was a little bit confused by the orange dress... I first thought "what the hell is it doing here??" Well, it's really cute, especially the hat. I love the hat!

Finished watching Project Runway season 4, and I became such a fan of Christian Siriano. Especially his avant-garde design was so stunning that I forgot to breathe.

The next really stunning moment was his final collection. I just love his style! It's classic, it's modern at the same time, it's elegant and it's beautiful. I liked Jillian's collection too, but it wasn't as cohesive as Christian's.
